Alvaro Ruiz Acevedo
9 – 12 Grade Math and Science Teacher
Hello, my name is Alvaro. Being a teacher is something that I really love and enjoy. I have a Bachelor in English from the University of Costa Rica and a Licenciatura Degree in Educational Science from Universidad San Jose. In my free time I love spending time with my two dogs Jack and Molly. Also, when I am not working, I love reading books, playing soccer and bicycling with my friends. For me, being a teacher is not only a job. This wonderful profession is a powerful way to share our knowledge, inspire our students and help them to develop their natural abilities, aspirations and attitudes toward life.
